7 Days of Prayer and Fasting: Day 1 – March 12, 2018

From March 12, 2018 – March 18, 2018 we are praying and fasting 12 hours per day (6am – 6pm) only drinking water.

Day 1: March 12, 2018:

Read: Nehemiah 1:5 – 11

Memory verse: Nehemiah 1:11 O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.

Before Nehemiah was able to go to Jerusalem and help complete the building of the wall, he confessed his own sin and acknowledged that salvation for the nation was found in God alone. This allowed him to petition God for favor from the king who would ultimately grant Nehemiah both the permission to build the wall and provide the necessary resources to complete the assignment.

Pray today:
1. For your self-discipline to run with the vision to build #teamKingdom in your church.
2. For personal peace to be a transformer to help peace reign in the life of others and,
3. That you speak well of everyone in your circle of influence as you trust God to change your environment as you are led by Holy Spirit.

After you read and pray throughout the day, be sure to take at least 5 minutes to listen for God to respond. Keep a journal to record what you hear Him say.
